Shopping, Eating Out and Leisure

Yeovil is a thriving market town, and has a wide range of quality shops, restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities.

A new guide which identifies the location of town centre traders and other businesses operating in the heart of Yeovil has been produced for the benefit of shoppers and visitors to the Town, and the street plan included in the guide may be viewed by clicking below:

Downloadable Street Plan

The street plan is colour coded - to help you identify the location of each retailer - and includes a key to help you find other useful facilities - including car parks, public toilets, amenities and public buildings.

A list of useful telephone numbers is also included in the plan, which has been produced by the Yeovil Town Centre Partnership - local councils and business working for Yeovil.

The Partnership aims to make Yeovil a better place for people to visit, work and live. It encompasses areas such as community safety, the environment, promotional activities, marketing and events, transport improvements and business liaison.

Yeovil Town Centre Partnership consists of representatives of the public and private sectors, who contribute financial support to provide core funding for the promotion and development of the Town Centre. For more information contact the Town Centre Manager on 01935 462422.

Free copies of the new guide, which also includes tourist information, are available from the Yeovil Heritage and Visitor Centre, Yeovil Library, and District and Town Council Offices, and large print versions of the street plan are available on request from the Town Centre Manager.
