Super Saturday Yeovil

22 September 2018

Yeovil Town Centre, St John's Churchyard and the Quedam

An exciting day of music, entertainment and celebrations in Yeovil Town Centre!

Peruse the craft and market stalls in Middle Street and the Quedam, and enjoy the creepiness  and the crawliness of mini beasts who visit for the day as Nick and his team bring us the “Wild and Deadly Show”.  Pete the Poet will be entertaining us with storytelling and music, so come and take a seat on the magic carpet.  The Quedam will also be hosting RPM Bike Trials Display Team – heart-racing stunts on two wheels.  And don’t forget there are puppet shows, swing boats and a helter skelter!!!

The celebration of gardening will take place as awards are made to winners of the Yeovil in Bloom Gardening Competition and the Best Kept Allotment competition.

Schools from Yeovil and the surrounding area will be in St John’s Church yard, so roll up, roll up for hook a duck, tombola and village skittles to name but a few…

A huge thank you to all those volunteering on the day, particularly the buskers who are entertaining visitors and shoppers, by giving their time and talents to provide a lovely festival ambience, whilst collecting money for local charity School in a Bag.

So once you have had your face painted, and are adorned with glitter tattoos, look out for the stilt walker who will help you find your way around the events, and watch out for the statues, as they might just wink at you!
