Yeovil Christmas Lights Switch On

The Yeovil Christmas Lights Switch On is taking place in the Town Centre on Saturday 15th November 2014.
The timetable for the day is:
Vintage Market 9.30 am – 4.00 pm in King George Street
Somerset Farmers' Market - 9.00 am – 2.00 pm in Middle Street
Traditional Food Market - 9.00 am – 3.00 pm in Middle Street
Lantern Procession:
4.00 pm - assemble at Methodist Church, Vicarage Street, Yeovil
4.30 pm – 5.00 pm - Procession led by HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band. Route: Vicarage Street/Middle Street/Silver Street/Vicarage Walk and ends at Ivel Square in Quedam Centre
Christmas Light Switch On Ceremony:
6.30 pm in the Quedam Centre - with Breeze FM and the Military Wives Choir
Live Music - Just after 6.30 pm at the Bandstand
Other activities taking place during the day on the build up to the Christmas Light Switch On include fairground rides in Lower Middle Street and Santa’s Grotto in the Quedam Centre. There will also be free parking in SSDC owned car parks all day with a voucher available from the Western Gazette.
