The Great Somerset Walk - in aid of St Margaret's Hospice
07 April 2014
Our 9th Great Somerset Walk is taking place on the 18th May. We are calling on you to get a team of friends, family or work colleagues together to help us beat last year’s total of £25,000.
The Great Somerset Walk is Somerset's longest, organised walk which takes hikers through some of the most scenic landscapes in the heart of the county. The walk follows a combination of foot and bridle paths and gives you the chance to design your own route. You can walk a shorter 3-4 mile section or challenge yourself with a longer hike - the choice is yours!
There are 9 registration points, you can choose to start and finish wherever best for you. Take a look at the map on the website and plan your route for the day - remember when planning the average person walks about 2.5 miles an hour - so make sure your route is achievable.
