Beware the forthcoming road works and closure of A30 section in Milborne Port happening between 2nd December and 8th December 2015.

Temporary Closure of Sherborne Road and High Street (A30)
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Sherborne Road and High Street (A30). Sherborne Road: 85m west of the junction with Goathill Road to the junction with High Street, and High Street; the junction with Sherborne Road to 10m east of the junction with North Street and South Street a total distance of 585metres.
This order will enable Somerset Highways on 02 December 2015 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last
for 4 days, excluding the weekend. While the closure is in operation an alternativr route will be signed as detailed below.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
From the wesrtern end if the closure porceed in a south westerly direction along the A30 to the junction with A352. Turn left and proceed in a south easterly direction along A352 to the junction with A3030. Turn left and proceed in a south easterly direction along A3030 to the junction with A357. Turn left and proceed in a northerly direction along A 357 to the junction with A30. Turn left and proceed in a south westerly direction along A30 to the eastern end of the closure, and vice versa.
