Every two years, the Town Council produces a Town Guide - at no cost to local taxpayers.
The Guide contains a bundle of useful information about the Town, and includes maps, contact details for many local organisations, clubs and societies, and details of attractions in and around Yeovil.
The Guide is aimed at visitors to the area and local residents who want to know more about the wide range of exciting facilities that Yeovil has to offer.
As well as information about local leisure, sports and shopping facilities, there are sections on all the main education establishments in the Town and details of a number of key initiatives in which the Town Council is involved - including the Yeovil Vision and Yeovil in Bloom.
10,000 copies of the Guide are produced - with all the costs involved being met from advertising. Copies are available free of charge from the Town House in Union Street, the Yeovil Visitor Centre in Petters Way, and from Yeovil Library in King George Street.
