Jump on board the Red Cross Musical express on Saturday 16 May 2015 for a fun-filled day out for all the family. Don’t miss the opportunity to be serenaded by the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir and the King’s College (Taunton) Jazz Band whilst tucking into a tasty cream tea. Enjoy all this as you rush through the beautiful Somerset countryside, from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, on a classic steam train.
This is just one of the many events being held this season to help raise vital funds for the British Red Cross. As part of a global humanitarian network, the British Red Cross helps those in the UK and abroad prepare, respond and recover from crisis. In the UK, the provision of a Red Cross wheelchair or support from one of our independent living volunteers can give someone that fundamental support they need to regain their independence and rebuild their lives.
By coming along to one of our events you are making it possible for the Red Cross to carrying on supporting those crises. Regardless of whom they are or where they are, with your support, we can support them.
