Marie Curie - Walk Ten, Killerton House

23 August 2014

Killerton House, Devon, EX5 3LE

Enjoy an evening 10k walk in in the hillside garden estate of the beautiful Killerton House, near Exeter, Devon. You will walk past an Iron Age Hill Fort, Killerton chapel and ice house, an early 19th century summer house and stunning landscape gardens. Dogs are welcome so bring along your four-legged friends.

After completing the walk, settle down with your picnic and enjoy the festival-like celebrations with live music, entertainment and spectacular fireworks at 10pm. These fireworks coincide with the time many Marie Curie Nurses start their night shift, providing care to people with terminal illnesses and their families in their own homes.

With your help, Walk Ten at Killerton House will raise significant money to care for even more people with terminal illnesses and provide support for their families. Every additional £20 raised will provide another hour of care and £180 pays for a nurse’s full shift.

It costs just £10 to register for the event. Under 16's go free but must be accompanied by an adult.
